City State Of The Invincible Overlord

Welcome to your Adventure Log!
A blog for your campaign

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.

These people are a little strange.....

I hate being a druid when everyone always has something to say about burning down a forest or some such nonsense.I ignore it and act like I don’t care, but it really angers me.I know none of them will actually burn a forest down and what not but I would rather they not say it,it bothers me.Karma help me hold my temper,I may loose it one day.We finally restored balance to a forest a few days ago,I was extremely glad we had,I don’t know if balance will stay though. It seems as though it was only a temporary fix to the growing problem, but if it does become a problem again,Jerimon will send for us.That ranger in our party seems to be a little strange as well.He has a good heart but I have feeling he has his hand in shady dealings, but that doesn’t concern me as of now.He also took it upon himself to take one of his goblin friends from the forest we had been in and wants to take him around with us.It seems a little strange, but he has good intentions for the goblin, and hey, maybe with some training from all of us within the party he may become a competent adventurer himself. That is saying of course that everyone in our adventuring company is competent.I find people like the wizards and the bard to be particularly useless. Those mouth-breathers don’t do anything except get free gold.Except for the one that casts some strange arcane spell that seems to put creatures into a magical slumber for maybe a minute. But there are others, like the clerics of Odin, that are useful but annoying. They’re the ones that keep talking about burning forests down,so you know what I do,I do anything nature related to annoy them. For instance, one of the clerics,a half-orc,was cutting down trees,so I told him I had to hug each tree before he does anything to them. It’s nonsense!Trees do not necessarily need hugs useless of course they ask for one,in which case I would do it happily. It is really funny to hear what they say when I hug a tree,it bothers them a lot.We also have had new addition to our group, paladin, maybe he will straighten up the party a little. But at times I think he comes on a little to seriously when addressing the party, but I guess that is part of being a paladin, but I don’t know to much about them in the first place.Whatever, time to rest for tomorrow.

The crowd begans to leave hanging the robes and masks back up. Frogar Tunk asks if he can keep the robes. The preist replies ” no, they must stay here”. Frogar Tunk returns to the party and heads for the Green Goblin. Upon entering the bar the few party notices a man watching Beronar Odinson then he leaves rather quickly. Frogar Tunk ask the party he would like to see them in private, so they headed up to his room. Frogar Tunk tells them what he saw during the ceremony and the devil that was inside temple. The next morning a man approaches Beronar Odinson and hands him a note and leaves. Beronar Odinson reads the note “please come and meet me at the Red Axe Inn Thajzi the orc-slayer”. The party goes over Red Axe Inn. Beronar Odinson goes over to Thajzi the orc-slayer. Thajzi the orc-slayer asks Beronar Odinson if he is a priest of odin. Beronar Odinson answers yes and shows him the holy symbol of odin. Thajzi the orc-slayer says to him “I will give 2 sp per head of an orc. There are Orcs of the purple claw outside of CITY STATE they killed my family”. Beronar Odinson says that he will accept his proposal then leaves to get equipment. The party returns Green Goblin and decides what to do.

Just Some Thoughts...

I really hope none of my companions dies of stupidity for I have seen it often plagueing adventures who believe themselves to be special or “more than human”. Some of them believe that they can take on an orc let alone two by themselves without a plan and survive to tell the tale. Many come to me and ask me to steal or do extrodinary things thinking that I am a master thief or something, but im not i am but a poorly skilled assasin I am no where near powerful. I would like some of my companions to be a little smarter but that does not mean they are all bad. The druid has a way to talk with nature which has come in handy with are past dealings so far. The half orc seems to be a powerful brute but is also smart when it comes to forming plans. The bard has climbed a tree…. well i’ll leave it at that. The magic user has produced some fine spells but seems to not fully understand there uses or stratagies. The necromancer is… I dont really remember what he has done… or is it a she? The cleric is very useful when he is around us for the weak and the dumb seem to be getting hurt all the time, hence why i am upset with all this smash before thinking. Then we have the ranger. He seems very strange, almost like he is bi-polar. At first he seems like he does not care what his actions do then turns around and helps people, then turns around and trys to use a goblin as somesort of slave. Lastly we have the kensi or whatever he is I am still not sure what he is but he seems like he wants to fight something and kill it but I cant wait till the day he goes running into a battle and kills himself all because he thinks he is some almighty warrior. Strange is this band of misfits that I am apart of but in time I hope we form a group worthy of adventuring even if that means that I have to weed out the dumb ones myself… well that is if they dont kill themselves first.
